The following GYN services offered are annual exams, birth control (Depo-Provera, IUDs, Implanon) abnormal vaginal bleeding, and management of uterine fibroids, abnormal pap smears and symptoms of menopause.

In-office procedures include colposcopies, LEEPs (management of abnormal paps), endometrial biopsies, endometrial ablations (treatment of abnormal vaginal bleeding and alternatives to hysterectomy). In-hospital, GYN procedures include diagnostic laparoscopies, abdominal-, vaginal-, and laparoscopic-assisted hysterectomies, cone biopsies, dilation and curettage (D&C), and many other procedures.

Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial Ablation is an alternative to a hysterectomy for patients that experience prolonged, excessive vaginal bleeding. The procedure can be performed in a hospital
or in the office. It destroys the lining of the uterus. Ninety percent of patients will experience a decrease in vaginal bleeding and some patients will have no bleeding
at all. The advantages of in-office endometrial ablation are minimal down-time and avoidance of the side effects and risks associated with general anesthesia.
